Loyd Ray Reinhart

Senior Master Sergeant Loyd Ray Reinhart, U.S.A.F. Retired, age 78, passed away Sunday, May 3, 2015. Loyd was born in El Campo, Texas and was the first of three children born to Oscar and Alma Reinhart. Loyd married Ethelyn "Lyn" Cameron Stuart Reinhart on July 31, 1959 in Las Vegas, Nevada and together they began their adventure. During that time they shared each other's hopes, dreams and fears while raising three children as well. Loyd was a U. S. Air Force Veteran of Vietnam with a total of 27 years of service as an Aircraft Maintenance Superintendent and retired as Senior Master Sergeant. While in the military he received many citations, awards and medals and was awarded many accommodations. Loyd is survived by his wife and best friend of 56 years, Lyn Reinhart; their daughter, Sherry Reinhart Wilkie and her two daughters, Ashley and Rachel; their two sons, Wayne (Shannon) Reinhart and their three children, Bianca, Brandon and Brooke, and Anthony "Tony" (Rebecca) and their son, Brody; his sister, Doris Reinhart (Russell); and his brother, Edward Reinhart. Loyd was a life time member of the North Biloxi VFW and Moose Lodge #332. He will always be affectionately remembered as a loving, strong, kind, giving husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend. Funeral services will be 1:15 p.m. Thursday, May 7, 2015, at Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Home, 2511 Pass Road, in Biloxi where friends may visit from 12:00 p.m. till service time. Interment will follow in Biloxi National Cemetery with military honors.
