Lucille Elizabeth Downs Corder

Lucille Elizabeth Downs Corder, 87 of Diamondhead, died Saturday, May 6, 2017. A loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, Lucille has been a resident of the Mississippi Gulf Coast for the past 24 years. She is preceded in death by her husband, Ernest Corder; her daughter, Darlene Teller; her parents, Joseph and Mary Downs; her three sisters, Mary Wallace, Dorothy Wesley, and Frances Lyons; and one brother, Joseph Downs, Jr. Lucille's survivors include her son, James Corder and his wife, Donna; her two granddaughters, Alexis Corder and Brittany Corder; two grandsons, Johnny Teller and his wife, Donna, and Jason Teller; and her great-grandson, Zachary Teller. Visitation will be held Wednesday, May 10, 2017 at Our Lady of the Gulf Catholic Church in Bay St. Louis from 4:00 p.m. until 4:30 p.m., with a Mass of Christian Burial at 4:30 p.m. The Howard Avenue Chapel of Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
