Mrs. Lucille J. Wolfe, 86,of Biloxi, MS, died Saturday, August 4, 2012, in D'Iberville.
Mrs. Wolfe was born in Quitman, MS and had been a resident of Biloxi since 1970. She was retired from Civil Service at Keesler AFB and formerly worked in Civil Service at Brookley AFB in Mobile. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Biloxi and several civic and social organizations of the coast. She was affectionaly known as "The Mayor of Holly Hills" and an ardent supporter of Gerald Blessey.
Mrs. Wolfe was preceded in death by her husband, Henry E. Wolfe; son, Michael Wolfe; parents, Roland T. and Lettie Long Jackson; sister, Melba Jackson; and four brothers, R. T. Jackson, Jr., Tarrell Jackson, James Jackson and Aaron Jackson. Survivors include her son, Henry E. Wolfe, Jr.; sister, Barbara Adams; and three grandchildren, Paul E. Wolfe, Brian M. Wolfe and Kimberly Wolfe.
Graveside services will be held Friday, August 10, 2012, at Biloxi National Cemetery. Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Home, Pass Road, in Biloxi is in charge of arrangements.
