Marie Bullen

Marie Bullen, age 85, of Pass Christian, died Friday, May 3, 2013 in Pass Christian. She was a member of Grace Memorial Baptist Church in Gulfport since 1955 where she served as a Sunday School Teacher and many other positions She was a teacher’s assistant at Bayou View Elementary School for eighteen years. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ernie Bullen; her parents, Jennings and Leva Herndon; a brother, Bill Herndon; and a great-granddaughter, Hannah Beatrice Bullen. She is survived by four children, Jimmy Bullen (Sandra) of Perkinston, Kay Garrard (Dennis) of Pass Christian, William Bullen (Christy) of Gulfport, and John Bullen (Stephanie) of Wiggins; ten grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. The funeral service will be Sunday, May 5, 2013 at 3:00 p.m. at Grace Memorial Baptist Church where friends may visit beginning at 1:00 p.m. until the service. Interment will follow at Floral Hills Memorial Gardens, Gulfport. Bradford-O’Keefe Funeral Home, 15th Street, Gulfport is in charge of arrangements.
