Marilyn J. Balsan

Marilyn J. Balsan, 79, of Ocean Springs, MS went to meet her father in heaven on Monday, January 7, 2013. Mrs. Balsan had been a resident of Ocean Springs for the past twelve years. She was married to Mr. Robert Balsan for four years. Mrs. Balsan was the former President of the Ladies Auxiliary of the VFW Chapter in Sterling, IL as well as a lifetime member of the MS Chapter. She was also a lifetime member of the American Legion and served as a member of the Lynchburg Landing Ladies Auxiliary. Mrs. Balsan will be sadly missed by friends and family. She is preceded in death by her parents, Bill and Susan Selk. Mrs. Balsan is survived by her husband, Robert Balsan; daughters, Susan (Richard) Narzony, Therese “Terry” Hays, Doris (Woody) Greene, Crystal (Scott) VanBuskirk and Staci Balsan; sons, Robert Fenhouse and Robert “Robby” (Kristina) Balsan, Jr.; granddaughter, Jacquelyn Vanek and thirteen other grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Bradford-O’Keefe Funeral Home, Ocean Springs is in charge of arrangements.
