Matthew 11:28 Our beloved Marion Rita Gaedchens Voisin passed away peacefully Wednesday, August 13th, 2014 surrounded by the love of her family. She was born November 2, 1944 in Biloxi, MS to the late James and Pearl Gaedchens and was a long time resident of Patterson, LA. She is survived by her loving husband of 50 years, Peter Jackson Voisin; four children: Marion Denise Voisin and her companion Michael Bacon of Bridge City, LA, Cynthia Anne Conque and her husband Blaine of Carencro, LA, Peter Junius Voisin and his wife Stacey of Bayou L'ourse, LA and Paige Jason Voisin and his wife Shavonne of Bayou Vista, LA; Three sisters: Gertrude Jones of MS, Burdine Kocurek of TX & Betty Cook of MO; 13 grandchildren: Kenneth, Danielle, Jeri-Lyn, Julia, Trevor, Sabrina, Alex, Colby, Abby, Jace, Brooke, Katelyn and Cody; seven great grandchildren: Claire, Kaleb, Lucas, Owen, Boston, Wyatt and Alyssa; and many nieces and nephews. She was also preceded in death by her sister and best friend, Marie Dore of LA, 3 infant brothers and her great grandson Fenway Kennerson of LA. Pallbearers will be Kenneth Holt, Trevor Conque, Alex Voisin, Cody Voisin, Colby DeHart and Jace DeHart. Christian Service and Burial will be held graveside at 3:00 PM, Friday August 15, 2014 at Wilson Cemetery. The Howard Avenue Chapel of Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
