Marion Elizabeth Whitney

Marion Elizabeth Whitney, 88, of Ocean Springs, MS died Monday, April 28, 2014 in Gautier. Mrs. Whitney was born in Cambridge, MA and lived on the coast since 1969. She is preceded in death by her husband, Channing Clark Whitney; her parents, Herbert and Grace Snell; her sister, Beverly McMillian; and her brothers, Richard Snell and Herbert Snell, Jr. Her survivors include her daughter, Lisa (Michael) Martin of Pascagoula; her sons, David (Mary) Whitney and Mark (Kathy) Whitney both of Vancleave, Michael (Sandra) Whitney of Baton Rouge, LA and Richard Whitney of Ocean Springs. Visitation will be held at the Ocean Springs Chapel of Bradford-O’Keefe Funeral Home on Friday, May 2, 2014 from 11:00 a.m. until 12:45 p.m. followed by a 1:30 p.m. graveside service at Biloxi National Cemetery .
