Marjory Ann Acevedo, age 75, went home to our Lord on Sunday, July 13, 2014, in Biloxi Mississippi.
Marjory was born May 2, 1939, in Midvale, Idaho. She was the fourth child of Jess and Gladys Fox. She grew up on the family ranch attending Midvale School where she graduated as the valedictorian and later attended Saint Alphonsus School of Nursing in Boise, Idaho, where she became a Registered Nurse. She served as an RN for the Singing River Hospital System at the Ocean Springs Hospital for 20 years, retiring in 2000.
Marjory was a native of Midvale, Idaho and has been a resident of Ocean Springs and Biloxi, MS for the past 33 years.
She is preceded in death by her brothers, Mike and Harvey.
Survivors include her husband, Frank Acevedo, their daughter, Lisa of San Antonio, TX, sons, Bill from Sacramento, CA, David from Carlisle, PA and John from Fort Payne, AL. She also has seven grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild.
Visitation will be on Wednesday, July 16, 2014, from 9 am until 10 am, with a 10 am chapel service, all at the Ocean Springs Chapel of Bradford O'Keefe Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Biloxi National Cemetery.
