Martha Sue Wenger Husley

Martha Sue Wenger Husley born March 20, 1941 passed away peacefully at her home with family by her side on May 4, 2015 at the age of 74. She is preceded in death by her husband of 47 years Orin W. Husley, Jr., her parents Paul B. and Bessie Wenger, brothers Charles Peyton and Paul Byron Wenger, Jr., her sisters Bettye Wenger and Catherine (Boots) Thomas, grandson Joey Unger and her great granddaughter Maycie Thornton. She is survived by her children Terri (Kevin) Husley-Crawford of St. Martin, Monica Mason, Kendall (Dana) and Lindell (Wendi) Husley all from Woolmarket, and her sister Janice (JD) Broadus of Gulfport and several others whom she considered her own. She also leaves behind many precious grandchildren who adored their grandmother, Michael (Lauren) Santa Cruz, Maria Santa Cruz, Marc, Jonathan (Jamie) and September Mason, Jeremy (Amanda) and Cameron Husley, Ashley (Jason) Zapata, Kayla Unger, Danielle Husley, Courtney (Jonathan) Henderson, Sarah and Haley Skiados. She also leaves her great grandchildren Jasmine Crawford, Mackynzie and Brayden Thornton, Ian and Auron Husley, Kylie and Ashlyn Henderson and Lillian Alvarez. Her home was always filled with family and friends. She retired after 22 years from the Harrison County School District. Funeral Services will be Friday, May 8, 2015 at 11:00am at Coalville United Methodist Church in Woolmarket where friends may visit from 9:30 to 11:00am. Burial will be held in the Coalville Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers will be Michael Santa Cruz, Samuel Husley, Gilbert Holland, Jeff Broadus, Jeff Clark, Faron Finney and serving as honorary pallbearers are Jay Broadus, Emerson “Satch” Husley and Kurt Holland.
