Mary Ann Clark

Mary Ann Clark, 85, of Ocean Springs, MS passed away on Saturday, December 6, 2014 in Ocean Springs. Mrs. Clark was a native of Tennessee and a longtime resident of Ocean Springs. In 1951, she met and married her lifelong partner, Wirt Roger Clark. As a military spouse she traveled all over the world. Mrs. Clark was a member of St. Paul United Methodist Church and employed as a registered nurse at Gulf Oaks. She also taught nursing at William Carey College on the coast. She is preceded in death by her husband, her parents, Archie and Eliza Garner, her sister, Frances and her family friend, Aunt Bess. Mrs. Clark is survived by her children, Roger Clark, Cathy Clark and Jill (Irene Morgan) Clark-Morse; and her grandchildren, Alex, Colin and Travis. Funeral Services will be held at St. Paul United Methodist Church Downtown on Friday, December 12, 2014 at 12:00 pm. Friends may visit from 10:00 am until service time. Interment will follow at Biloxi National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers the family prefers donations be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place Memphis, TN 38105. The Ocean Springs Chapel of Bradford-O’Keefe Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
