Mary Virginia Garrick

Mary Virginia Garrick, 80, of Ocean Springs, MS died on Saturday, January 12, 2013. Ms. Garrick was a native of Arkansas and had been a resident of the Gulf Coast for over 50 years. She was employed as a private duty nurse and was a member of New Fayard Methodist Church in Latimer. Ms. Garrick is preceded in death by her parents, William E. and Dorothy Warren Gray; one son, Cecil Cowden and two daughters, Edna Orr and Virginia Orr. She is survived by her daughters, Dorothy Collier and Shirley Rushing; sons, Charles and Clarence Johnson; brother, Billy Jack Justice; sixteen grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren. Visitation will be on Tuesday, January 15, 2013 from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Funeral services will be on Wednesday, January 16, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. Both will be held at the Howard Avenue Chapel of Bradford-O’Keefe Funeral Home, Biloxi. Interment will be in New Fayard Methodist Church Cemetery.
