Mary Joy Ladner Sills

Mary Joy Ladner Sills, 68, of Metairie, LA, died Thursday, March 26, 2015 in Metairie. She was born in New Orleans, was a former resident of DeLisle, MS and was a resident of Metairie for about forty years. She was a member of Divine Mercy Catholic Church in Kenner and served as a Eucharistic Minister. She was retired from AAA Travel and previously worked for Pan American Airlines and National Airlines. She was preceded in death by her parents, Eldon Joseph Ladner, Sr. and Eunice Necaise Ladner; a brother, Eldon Joseph Ladner, Jr. She is survived by her husband of 26 years, Clive L. Sills of Metairie; a daughter, Katherine Joy Hoffield Patrick (Michael); two sons, Kevin Joseph Hoffield (Jill) and Keith Anthony Hoffield (Kristen); a sister, Gayle Wiemers of Pass Christian; five grandchildren, Hope Marie Patrick, Skila Hoffield, Shaila Hoffield, Kerrigan Hoffield and Kynleigh Hoffield; and other extended family members. The Mass of Christian Burial will be held Monday, March 30, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at Holy Family Catholic Church, Pass Christian where friends may visit beginning at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow at New DeLisle Cemetery.
