Mary "Lanette" Selke

Mary “Lanette” Selke, 49, of Biloxi, MS gained her heavenly wings on February 22, 2017, in Gulfport, MS after a very short and courageous fight with cancer. Lanette was born to Ronnie and Joan Good on April 8, 1967. She was raised in the St. Martin community where she attended St. Martin High School and graduated with the Class of 1985. Lanette was employed as a Project Accountant with Roy Anderson Corporation. Her passions were her family and friends. Lanette was a very quiet, calm and fun loving person with a lot of heart and compassion. She enjoyed playing with Izzy and Brooklyn, spending the summers in the sun on the beautiful waters of the Gulf of Mexico and her Yorkie, Lexi. She is preceded in death by her father-in-law, Bill Selke. Lanette’s survivors include her parents, Ronnie and Joan Good; her husband of 29 years, Tim Selke, Sr.; her sons, Timothy (Amber) of Beaumont, TX and Shaun (Jillian) of Biloxi; her granddaughters, Izabella and Brooklyn; her sister, Jill Good Lane of Biloxi; her sister-in-law, Gretchen Selke of Ocean Springs; her mother-in-law, Kitty Selke of Ocean Springs; her nieces, Kayla and Taelen; her nephew, Ronnie; her great-nephew, Conner; her great-niece, Cloie; and many aunts, uncles, cousins and close friends including her lifelong best friend, Tracy Ladner. The family would like to thank Dr. Allison Wall for her kind and compassionate care that she provided Lanette and the family. Friends may visit from 10:00 am until service time.
