Matthew Blake Weede, 18 of Long Beach passed away Friday, June 5, 2015 in Mobile, AL.
Matthew was born in Daytona Beach, FL and had been a resident of Long Beach since 2000. He was a member of the Nourishing Place in Gulfport. He was a graduate of Long Beach High School and worked at Winn-Dixie in Long Beach for over one year. He studied piano with Helen Evans for eight years. He was an advocate of Bicycle Safety Awareness and his hobbies were bicycling, running, piano, crocheting/knitting, and spending time with his brothers and sister.
Matthew is survived by his mother, Angelyn Elise McNally of Pearl; his father and step-mother, Michael and Isabelle Weede of Long Beach; a sister, Samantha McNally of Long Beach; three brothers, Austin Lester of Colorado Springs, CO, Kyle Weede and Hunter McNally, both of Long Beach; grandparents, Linda Lester of Lucedale, Samuel Lester of Pearl, Sherry Rice of Ormond Beach, FL, William and Anne Weede of Dandridge, TN, Marie-France Le Pichon and Jean-Claude Infante, both of France; and several aunts, uncles, cousins and other relatives.
Visitation will be held Thursday, June 11, 2015 from 5:00 until 8:00 p.m. at Bradford-O’Keefe Funeral Home, 15th Street, Gulfport. There will be a Celebration of Life Service Friday June 12, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. in the funeral home chapel. Following the service a reception will be held at the Nourishing Place, 630 Tennessee Street (off Hewes Avenue), Gulfport.
