Melvin Sidney Reid

Melvin Sidney Reid, age 75, passed away Monday, October 30, 2017 in Biloxi, MS. He is preceded in death by his mother, Pauline Reid; his father, Howard Reid; his brothers, Donald Joe Reid, Jim Reid, and Billy Ray Reid; and his son, Kenneth H. Dickerson. Survivors include his wife, Lee Etta Dickerson; his sisters, Jackie Littrell and Marilyn Hill; his brother, Earl Reid; his children, J.R. Reid, Rebecca Howard, and Karren Bosarge; his ten grandchildren; his 23 great-grandchildren; and four great great-grandchildren. Visitation will be held Thursday, November 2, 2017 from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at the Ocean Springs Chapel of Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Home. Graveside service will be held Friday, November 3, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. at Biloxi National Cemetery.
