Mr. Michael Joseph Scarborough, 68, of Biloxi, died Thursday, April 16, 2015. Michael was a lifelong resident of the Gulf Coast and was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church. In his youth, he played baseball in Woolmarket and grew up to coach Little League on the same field. From 1965-1968 he played Lead Guitar for the rock bands the “Celler Steppe” and “The Blues Society.” Michael taught 7th and 8th grade at Woolmarket School. He retired after 40 years working for Chapter 13 Trustee’s office in Gulfport, MS. He is preceded in death by his parents, Everett Lamar and Mary Lamas Scarborough; and brother, Patrick Scarborough. Survivors include his sister, Janie Scarborough of Biloxi. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, April 20, 2015 at 11am at St. Mary Catholic Church. Friends may visit from 9:30-11am. Interment will follow at White Plains Cemetery. The Howard Avenue Chapel of Bradford-O’Keefe Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements
