Midge Graves, faithful wife, loving mother, grandmother, loyal friend and relative went home to continue her journey in God’s loving arms. She went to join her late husband of 60 years, Philip H. Graves, after a 14 year battle with Alzheimer’s. She received the loving care and support of her family to allow her to slip away peacefully at home.
Midge was born and raised in Latimer Ms. She attended St. Martin High School and was a varsity Basketball player. Midge met the love of her life while working at Kress Dept. Store in Biloxi. He was stationed at Keesler Field at the time and they married in 1948. She began her career as a homemaker after their marriage. Midge excelled in her role as a homemaker and took great pride in caring for her husband and daughter. She was an avid bingo player and enjoyed playing in Ocean Springs. Her and Philip enjoyed weekly visits to the Casinos to play the slots. She loved to vacation in Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg.
Survivors include her only child, Cindy Graves (Kenny) Honeycutt whom she loved and supported in every way possible through all the phases of her life. She felt blessed with her only granddaughter, Camie Mapp (Louis) Jones whom she adored. Midge was never too busy to spend time with either of her girls. She enjoyed her great-grandchildren Addison Phillips (Kenny) Allen, Marah Phillips, and Huston Phillips and one great-great granddaughter, McKenlie Allen. She is also survived by step-grandson, Ken Honeycutt, Jr and great-grandsons, Harrison Honeycutt and Ethan Jones, 7 nephews, Joe, Dan, Kenny, Clayton, Steve, Rocky and AJ Krohn and one niece, Kathleen Krohn Abrahams and her surviving sister-in-law, June Krohn.

The family would like to thank her two caregivers for their love, devotion, and years of service, Laurisha Bozeman and Sally Ezell. They took care of “Maw Maw” with the dignity and respect she deserved. Missy, the nurse (Saad’s) was there for our family. We also want to acknowledge her son-in-law, Kenny Honeycutt, who loved and treated her as his Mother and oversaw her care. She loved him as the son she never had.
