Nava Lou Rose

Mrs.Nava Lou Rose, age 87, of Biloxi, MS, passed away Thursday, March 27, 2014, at her home in Biloxi. Mrs. Rose was born May 31, 1926, in Marion County, MS to the late Jewel and Lillie Dunaway. She was an avid reader, keeping abreast of news and politics. She had a passion for raising flowers and bird watching. She is preceded in death by her husband, Zenith Rose, her siblings Dorothy (Vince) Seib, Dewey Dunaway, Buddy (Carol) Dunaway, and a daughter, Diane (Richard) Higginbotham of Biloxi. Survivors include her five children, Zenith R. (Freda) Rose, Kenneth M. Rose, Richard (Debbie) Rose, Betty (Jim) Hinton, and David (Patty) Rose. She is also survived by a brother, Doyle (Marjorie) Dunaway and two sisters, Juanita (Ed) Tyner and Juanice (Curtis) Felcher. She has ten grandchildren, nine great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, April 1, 2014, at Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Home, 2511 Pass Road, in Biloxi where friends may visit one hour before service time. Interment will follow in Coalville Cemetery.
