Nellyn "Cookie" Cooke

Nellyn “Cookie” Cooke of Lodi, CA passed away on Monday, May 19th 2014 after recently relocating to Long Beach MS. Cookie lived in California for the last 50 years and leaves behind many special friends whose support and care have meant so much during this time of transition. Cookie was preceded in death by her parents, James and Addie Cooke; her twin sister, Nelda Lea Benton; sister, Norma Jean Cooke; and her brothers, Harold “Jim” and George Cooke. Cookie is survived by her only daughter, Barbara Notter and her husband, Richard Notter; her sister, Carol Lowery of Louisville, MS; three grandchildren, Michael Notter, Christopher Notter, and Lauren Notter Pierce; nine great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Private memorial services will be held for family and friends in California and Long Beach, MS. Bradford-O’Keefe Funeral Home, 15th Street, Gulfport is in charge of arrangements.
