Nickie D. "Tinman" Thornton

Nickie D. Thornton (Tinman), age 56 went to his heavenly home Monday, June 29, 2015. He was preceded in death by his parents, E. V. Thornton (Von) and Ann Thornton. Survivors include his brother, Tim and wife Julie, nephews Travis, Chad and wife Elysce and their beautiful children, Cooper and Taylor; aunts, Sis and Barbara; cousins; and his lifelong friend Melissa Riser. He graduated from Gulfport East High School in 1976 and worked many years as a paralegal for John Woodfield. He was a Methodist. Special thanks to the staff at memorial Hospital ICU 5th floor and to our pastor John McCay who was with us until the end. Nick fought a tough row in life but never complained. Now he is free from this world of limited abilities. No services as per the requests of Nick and the Thornton family.
