Noll Phillip Toncrey

Mr. Noll P. Toncrey, 62, of D'Iberville, MS, died Friday, September 24, 2010, in Ocean Springs. Noll, a lifelong resident of the coast, was well loved for his kind and generous heart, his devotion to family and friends, and his enjoyment and spirit in life. To know Noll was to love him and to join all of us who will, sadly forever, miss him; yet, recall with great smiles the memories that we made with him. Noll was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church and owned Toncrey's Paint and Body Shop. He was a member of the D'Iberville Community Club, having served as Carnival Ball King, alongside his wife, as Queen, in 1999. He blessed her with 25 years of wonderful adventure, fun and devotion. Sadly, Noll was preceded in death only 8 months ago by his father, Mr. Henry Toncrey, Sr. He was also preceded by two brothers-in-law, Joseph Dimitry and John Forbish, and his great friend, David Breckinridge. Noll is survived by his mother, Jacqueline Moran Toncrey, and his wife, Gwen Jerkins Toncrey, both of D'Iberville. He is also survived by his children, Terry Denise Pasley of Jackson, MS, Laura Michelle Toncrey of Gulfport, and Daniel Joseph (Linda) Toncrey of Long Beach. Also surviving Noll are his brothers, Henry (Ann) Toncrey, Jr. and Kevin Toncrey, and his sisters, Beverly Dimitry, Amber Forbish, Rachel (Timothy) Baldwin and Lydia Mallett. Noll is survived by seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. God be with you, Noll, until we meet again. A memorial service will be held Tuesday, September 28, 2010, at 12 noon at Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Home, Howard Avenue, in Biloxi where friends may visit from 10:30 a.m. until service time.
