Oliver N. West

Major Oliver N. West passed away peacefully at his home in Ocean Springs on Father’s day, June 17, 2012. He served 25 years in the US Air Force and fought valiantly during WW II in Europe and the Pacific. Ollie was a big-hearted generous man who loved his family, fishing, and friends. Laughter, adventure, lending a hand, blues music, little children, home life and the wilderness all gave him great pleasure. The bright and steady light he cast will shine forever in the hearts of all who loved him. He is survived by his dear wife, Margaret and daughters, Diane and Melanie. Bradford-O’Keefe Funeral Home, Ocean Springs was in charge arrangements.
