Onieda Fay Vanderwende

Oneida Fay Vanderwende, 70, of Ocean Springs, MS passed away on Saturday, March 28, 2015 in Ocean Springs. Ms. Vanderwende was a resident of Ocean Springs for the past ten years. She leaves behind a legacy of strength, determination and endurance. She is preceded in death by her parents; three brothers; three sisters; and her grandson. Ms. Vanderwende’s survivors include her daughters, Cindy (Wesley) Warbritton, Caroline Bishop and Gloria Kelly; her son, John L. Allday; five grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. Services for Ms. Vanderwende will be held in Hazard County, KY. The Ocean Springs Chapel of Bradford-O’Keefe Funeral Home is in charge.
