Otto M. Vuyovich, Sr., 61, of Biloxi, passed away Sunday, October 6, 2013.
Otto was a lifelong resident of the MS Gulf Coast. He worked at Ingalls Shipyard for 35 years. Otto was a great outdoors-man who enjoyed hunting and fishing. He was a loving man who enjoyed entertaining family and friends.
Otto is preceded in death by his parents, Eddie and Angie Quave Vuyovich.
Survivors include his loving wife of 43 years, Mary Vuyovich; daughter, Gindy (Anthony) Taranto of Woolmarket; sons, Otto (Shelley) Vuyovich, Jr. of Vancleave; Chad (Cherish) Vuyovich of Fayetteville, NC; sisters, Leah Raye (Gray) Slay of Biloxi, Sheila (Tommy) Wieck of D’Iberville and Claire (Donnie) Reed of D’Iberville; brothers, Eddie (Nelda)Vuyovich of Vancleave, Dale (Susan) Vuyovich of Saucier, Van (Sue) Vuyovich of Salem, IN, Kelly Vuyovich of Hattiesburg, and Gene Vuyovich of Los Angelos, CA; and grandchildren, Jake (Emily) Vuyovich, Tyler Vuyovich, Courtney Taranto, Brett Keen, Kyle Taranto, Josie Vuyovich, Alexis Vuyovich and Declan Vuyovich.
A memorial service will be held at the Howard Avenue Chapel of Bradford-O’Keefe Funeral Home on Wednesday, October 9, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. Friends may visit two hours prior. Interment will follow at D’Iberville Memorial Park.
