Paul Douglas Hopkins

Paul Douglas Hopkins was born in Mecklenburg County, North Carolina on February 1, 1940 and was taken peacefully in his sleep on Friday, April 18, 2014. He served his country overseas in the USAF from 1959 to 1967. He retired from Kennedy Engine Company after many years of service. He spent his retirement years enjoying fishing, woodworking and spending time with his family. Paul is preceded in death by his parents, Paul G. & Eva Hopkins and brother Kenneth. Survivors include his sister, Carol (Richard) Williams; brother, Tom (Ann) Hopkins; mother to his three children, Rosellina Hopkins; sons, Paul G (the late Lisa A.) Hopkins and Doug (Angie) Hopkins; one daughter, Cicci “Maria” (Bobby) Migues; seven grandchildren, Cassie, Chad, Chelsea, Dougie, Chase, Alexis and Siena; three great-grandchildren, Anthony, Hunter and Carson; as well as many nieces, nephews and other extended family members.
