Paula Fallo

Born in Biloxi on September 8, 1929, Paula Fallo went to be with the Lord on February 16, 2013. Paula lived in Biloxi for the first 35 years of her life, graduating from Sacred Heart Girls School. She spent the rest of her years in Ocean Springs raising her family and helping her husband run the family business Fallo Dry Cleaners. She was a wonderful wife to John “Jack” Fallo, married for 64 years, and a selfless mother to Mike and Jeff. Family and friends were her highest priority. In addition to her family, Paula also enjoyed fishing, yard work, and occasionally playing the slot machines. She would always remind you to “Say What You Mean, and Mean What You Say.” Her family remembers her having “a will as strong as a crowbar.” She had strong religious convictions, and was a member of Saint Francis Xavier Seelos Catholic Church in Biloxi. Paula was preceded in death by her parents, Frank G. and Mary Elizabeth ”Bessie” Baudry; her sister, Mary Lea Norris; and her brother, Clay Baudry. She is survived by her husband, John “Jack” Fallo of Ocean Springs; her sister, Betty Baudry Fountain of Biloxi; her brother-in-law, Joseph “Slew” Fallo of Ocean Springs; two sons, Michael T. Fallo of Ocean Springs, and Jeffrey C. Fallo, Sr. and his wife Karen of Vancleave. Paula leaves six grandchildren including JC Fallo and his girlfriend Charlene Anderson of Ocean Springs; Michelle Rene Fallo Gibson and her husband chuck of Wichita, KS; Brandy Fallo Cunha and her husband John of Saucier; Jeffrey Fallo, Jr. and his wife Jenny of San Diego, CA; Brittany Fallo and her boyfriend Kyle Nelson of Vanceave; and Kolby Fallo of Vancleave; in addition to great grandson Eric of Wichita; step great granddaughter Jackie Cunha of Saucier; and many nieces and nephews. The Fallo family would like to thank everyone for your prayers, thoughts, and well wishes. They also would like to express gratitude for the care given by Hospice of Light, with special thanks to primary hospice nurse Shekandra and Dr. Edgar Hull. In lieu of flowers, please consider memorials donations to the St. Vincent De Paul Pharmacy on Division Street in Biloxi, or to the Home of Grace in Vancleave. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, February 19, 2013 at Saint Francis Xavier Seelos Catholic Church in Biloxi. Friends may visit one and half hours prior. Interment will follow at Crestlawn Memorial Park in Ocean Springs. The Howard Avenue Chapel of Bradford-O’Keefe Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
