Peggy Calvert, 97, longtime resident of Biloxi, MS, most recently of Tucson, AZ died October 21, 2014 in Tucson, AZ.
She was a member of First United Methodist Church. Peggy was a Beautician for over 50 years and owned and operated Peggy’s Beauty Shop. When not working, she loved to fish.
She was preceded in death by her husbands, A.H. Scarborogh and M.C. Calvert; her parents, Walter and Luna Black; a daughter, Roma Gay Scarborough Shettlemore; two sisters and one brother.
Peggy is survived by a daughter, Elizabeth Scarborogh Morton of Tucson, AZ; a sister, Lora Posey of Gulfport, MS; two brothers, Buster Black of Pulaski, MS and Dolphus Black of Starkville, MS; three grandchildren, Becky, Melissa and Michael and 5 great-grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held at Krohn Cemetery on Friday, November 7, 2014. Everyone will meet at 2:00 p.m. The Howard Avenue Chapel of Bradford-O’Keefe Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
