Phillip "Sonny" Burnson

Mr. Phillip (Sonny) Burnson Jr. passed away in Ocean Springs, MS on November 14, 2013. Phillip was born in Magnolia, MS on April 24, 1941. He worked many years in the offshore oilfield industry. He was preceded in death by his parents, Dorothy and Phillip, sister, Hannah Marilyn Baker and his loving wife, Marilyn. Survivors include his nephew, Kenny Baker, daughters, Elizabeth Maddox and Kristen Tilley, grandchildren Lauren and Joseph Maddox, Phillip, Graham and Ian Tilley and numerous other cousins and relatives. Graveside services will be held on Sunday, November 17, 2 PM, at Brumfield Cemetery in Magnolia MS. The Ocean Springs Chapel of Bradford O'Keefe Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
