Rachel Wright Lincecum

Rachel Wright Lincecum, 65, of Biloxi, MS, died Friday, October 5, 2012, in Ocean Springs. Mrs. Lincecum was born in Harrisonburg, LA and had been a longtime resident of the MS Gulf Coast. She was a retired educator, teaching 40 years. She graduated from Ferriday High School and attended college at Northwestern State University in Louisiana. Some of her most treasured moments were spent "Sistering". She was a loving and careing mother, grandmother, dedicating her life to selfishly careing for others and always seeing the best in everyone. Mrs. Lincecum is preceded in death by her husband, Donald Ray Lincecum; parents, Mable Scott Wright and Raymond Wright; and brother, Harold Wright. She is survived by her daughters, Jennifer Lincecum (Jonathan) Lechner, and Amy Lincecum (Bryan) Comstock; sisters, Martha Wright Jones, Rebecca Wright Domangue and Sue Wright Primm; brother, Scottie Wright; grandchildren, Nathan Lechner, Logan Lechner and Gavin Comstock; ten nieces and nephews and a host of great nieces and great nephews. Funeral services will be 4:00 p.m. Wednesday, October 10, 2012, at the First United Methodist Church of Biloxi where friends may visit one hour before service time. Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Home, 2511 Pass Road, in Biloxi is in charge of services.
