Rachel Corrine Riley

Rachel Corrine Riley, age 88, of Gulfport, died Monday, December 24, 2012. Rachel met the love of her life at Camp Shelby and they were married in her native town of Hattiesburg. She was a homemaker, Baptist and a staunch Republican. Rachel is preceded in death by her husband of 37 years, John William Riley; and parents, David Alton and Mary Louise Rainey. Her survivors include her daughter, Linda Ruth ((Lee T. (Joe), Jr.)) Fayard of Biloxi, MS; son, John Alex (Mary) Riley of Bryan, TX; four grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. A graveside service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Friday, December 28, 2012 at Bethel Baptist Church Cemetery, Covington County. The Howard Avenue Chapel of Bradford-O’Keefe Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
