Richard S. Dorman,

Richard S. Dorman, Sr., age 76, died Friday, December 13, 2013 encircled by the love of his family. He was preceded in death by his father, William Dorman; mother, Elizabeth Dorman; and an older brother, William (Billy) Dorman. Survivors include his wife of 54 years, Larry Lynne; and four children - three loving sons: Richard S. Dorman Jr. and wife Tina Kay, Larry Lee Dorman and wife Maria, Patrick Jay Dorman, and beloved daughter, Shelley Lynne Letort and husband Allen. Surviving siblings include his sister, Elizabeth (Betty) Albert; and brother, Stanley Dorman and his wife Sharon. Richard Sr. also leaves behind eight grandchildren and sixteen great grandchildren. Richard was born in Kearny, NJ and joined the US Air Force. After basic training, he completed a four year enlistment at Keesler AFB teaching electronics. After an honorable discharge he returned to New Jersey working for RCA. He began a Civil Service career in 1963 at Keesler AFB as an instructor in electronics and computer systems, while earning a BS degree in Business Administration from the University of Southern Mississippi.
