Richard "Whitty" Garrett

Richard D. "Whitty" Garrett, age 54, of Biloxi, MS, died Tuesday, February 11, 2014, in Biloxi. Mr. Garrett was born in the Bermuda Islands. He was a graduate of Biloxi High School where he was on the baseball team as a pitcher. He had a four year degree in restaurant and hotel management from USM where he was a pitcher for the Golden Eagles Baseball Team. He was formerly employed as manager at LB's Steakhouse at the Grand Casino in Gulfport. Mr. Garrett is survived by his children, Kallie Nicole Garrett and Gylan Garrett, Emmaly Heidelberg and Ellis Wilkerson; his parents, Jimmie Sue Garrett and Ronald Garrett, and his sister, Rhonda Garrett. Memorial serevices will be 2:00 p.m. Saturday, February 15, 2014, at Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Home, 2511 Pass Road, in Biloxi where friends may visit from 12 noon until service time.
