Richmond B. "Paw Paw" Wade, 58, of Ocean Springs, MS died Thursday, January 24, 2013, in Ocean Springs.
"Richie" was a native and lifelong resident of the MS Gulf Coast. He was of the Lutheran faith and an employee of Huntington-Ingalls for 32 years. He was a shrimper on the coast and loved to fish, hunt and be with his family and friends. He enjoyed being with his grandson and gardening. Over all, he was a srtong man that would do anything to help others. His family meant everything to him; a true family man. Being a hero is an understatement; he was the knot that held everything together. We love you Dad, Husband, and Paw Paw. You will forever be in our hearts and spirit.
"Richie" was preceded in death by his father, Ray Frank Wade, Sr. and a brother, Ray Frank Wade, Jr. He is survived by his wife of 37 years, Debra Wade; twin sons, Chuck and Franky Wade; grandson, Gavin Wade; mother, Blanche Wade; brother, Ronnie Wade; and godchild, Aimee Gore.
Visitation is 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. Monday, January 28, 2013, at Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Home, 675 Howard Avenue, in Biloxi. Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Tuesday in the funeral home chapel where friends may visit one hour before service time. Interment will follow in Biloxi City Cemetery.
