Bob was born on July 21, 1939 in Rochester, NH. He graduated from Dover High School in Dover, NH in 1957 and joined the United States Air Force. He proudly served our country in the Air Force Medical Corps, retiring in December 1983 with 26 years of service. His last 13 years of service were at Keesler Air Force Base. While at Keesler, among his many duty assignments, he was involved in the initial establishment of the Cardiac Cath Lab at Keesler Hospital. Upon his retirement and being extremely interested in woodworking, he enrolled at MS Gulf Coast Community College to further his skills in woodworking and computerized machinery. Also in retirement, Bob joined the Ocean Springs Elks Lodge, B.P.O.E . 2501. It was here that his service to community continued. In addition to the camaraderie the lodge provided, it was the service to the Elks’ many charities that gave him the greatest joy. He served the Ocean Springs Elks as their Exalted Ruler and was honored to serve as the Mississippi Deputy Director to the Grand Exalted Ruler. At home, he enjoyed spending time pondering over his daily crossword puzzles, working on his computer and enjoying time with his grandchildren.
