Roland C. Tootle

Roland “Rocky” C. Tootle, Jr., 63, passed away Sunday, August 25, 2013 in Biloxi. Mr. Tootle lived his entire life on the Gulf Coast and was a retired Boat Captain and he enjoyed woodworking. He was an Army Veteran of Vietnam. Mr. Tootle was preceded in death by his wife, Anita Tootle and his father, Roland C. Tootle, Sr.. Survivors include his daughter, Maurine Nelms and husband, David Nelms of Inverness, Mississippi; three grandchildren, Kallie Nelms and husband Cody Carney of Collinsville, Texas, Emily Nelms and Conner Nelms of Gainesville, Texas. He is also survived by his mother, Selmia Tootle, of D’Iberville, MS; his brothers, Keith Tootle and wife, Evelyn, of D’Iberville, MS, Rex Tootle and wife, Kimberly, of D’Iberville, MS, and Sam Tootle and wife, Marjorie, of Biloxi, MS; sisters, Debbie Williams of D’Iberville, MS and Kim Louise Goacher of Gulfport, MS; and numerous nieces and nephews. Private services will be held. Howard Avenue Chapel of Bradford-O’Keefe in charge of arrangements.
