Ronald "Ron" Lawton

Mr. Ronald "Ron" Lawton, age 56, of Waveland, MS, passed away on Wednesday, April 16, 2014, in Waveland. Ron was a longtime resident of the coast and a hydrographic and land surveyor. He loved sailing and bicycle riding. Survivors include his wife of 20 years, Sheryl Lawton, "My Boy" Brad Slade, both of Waveland, mother, Virginia Jean Lawton of Lucedale, father, Albert (Pat) Lawton, of Carnesville, GA, brothers, Tim (Adele) Lawton of Ocean Springs, Ramon (Debbie) Lawton of North Biloxi, Ashley "Hap" (Tina) Lawton and Ernie (Doreen) Lawton, all of Carnesville, GA, stepchildren, Chad, Brad, Henry, Claudia and Casey and Paw Paw's grandchildren, Jade, Tyler, Andrea, Austin and Madison. Funeral Services will be held at the Ocean Springs Chapel of Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Home on Friday, April 18, 2014 at 7:00 p.m. Friends may visit from 5:00 p.m. until service time.
