Rosie Ellen Austin

Rosie Ellen Austin, age 63, of Gulfport passed away Monday, June 19, 2017. Ellen was born in Biloxi and was a lifelong resident of the Gulf Coast. She was a devoted wife and loving mother and grandmother. She was preceded in death by her husband, Edward Austin, Jr; parents, Theresa and James McCauley, Sr; and brothers, James McCauley, Jr., Steven McCauley, and Jacob McCauley. Ellen is survived by a daughter, Angela (Joey) Robinson; sons, Joseph Austin and Michael Austin; two sisters, Shirley Ann Lewis and Alberta Mills; and twelve grandchildren. There will be a memorial service on Saturday, June 24, 2017 at 6:00 p.m. at West Gulfport Baptist Church, 1020 Fournier Avenue, Gulfport, MS 39501.
