Ruby M. "Polly" Lang

Ruby M. “Polly” Lang, age 78, of Gulfport died Monday, January 5, 2015 in Gulfport. She was born in Chicora, MS and had been a resident of Gulfport since 1999. She was a retired nurse and was a member of Grace Memorial Baptist Church, Gulfport. She was preceded in death by her husband, MSgt. Edward R. Lang, (USAF Retired); her parents, Forest E. Pope and Jeanette B. Pope; a brother, Forest Edwin Pope, Jr; and a daughter, Brenda Lynn McNeil. She is survived by two daughters, Mary Kay Benson (Douglas) of Gurdon, Arkansas and Polly Anna McNeil Hartley (Steven) of Ft. Collins, CO; a son, Francis Paul McNeil, Jr. of Gulfport; a brother, Hardy O. Pope of Gulfport; four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. The funeral service will be held Wednesday, January 7, 2014 at 11:00 A.M. at Bradford-O’Keefe Funeral Home, 15th Street, Gulfport where friends may visit beginning at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Evergreen Gardens, Gulfport.
