Rudolph (Mack) McLeod Jr, age 73, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, October 4, 2017, at home surrounded by his loving family.
He was born on January 21, 1944, grew up in Pascagoula and resided in Gautier for many years. He loved to fish and was a retired shrimper. Until his last breath, Mack never lost his sense of humor.
Mack was preceded in death by his daughter, Angela McLeod, son, Brian McLeod, parents, Rudolph (Mack) McLeod Sr and Vivian Anita Hill McLeod and sister, Carol Jenkins.
He leaves to cherish his memories, a loving and devoted wife of 31 years, Cathy McLeod, stepmom, Mom Marie McLeod, son, Rudolph (Mack) McLeod III, daughters, Tina Hicks and Tammy McLeod Ward, numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren, brothers, Terry (Karla) McLeod and Tim (Zarin) McLeod, sisters, Patricia (Truman) Lambert and Melissa (Rodney) Byrd, special sister-in-law, Cynthia Ratcliff, and a very special and devoted friend, Houston Holden.
Visitation will be on Tuesday, October 10, from 12:30pm until 2:00pm, with a 2:00 pm chapel service, all at the Vancleave Chapel of Bradford O'Keefe Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Vancleave #1 Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be his loving nephews, Truman Lambert, Jr, Wesley Lambert, Rodney Byrd, John Byrd, Justin Byrd and Chris McLeod. Honorary pallbearers are Houston Holden and Truman Lambert Sr. Chaplain Tray Byrd will be officiating the service.
