Sarah Conant McCown

Sarah Conant McCown, age 92, passed away Monday, August 15, 2016 in Gulfport. She was born in Edgemoor, TN. She had been a resident of Gulfport for about nine months after moving from Harriman, TN and loved the Coast. She was a member of the Trinity Baptist Church in Harriman and attended The Nourishing Place locally in Gulfport. She is survived by her son, William J. “Jeff” McCown of Gulfport; a grandson, William A. “Austin” McCown; and a special friend and caregiver, Katherine Nesshoever. Bradford-O’Keefe Funeral Home, 15th Street, Gulfport is in charge of local preparations for a graveside service that will be held at a later date at New Fairview Baptist Church Cemetery in Oliver Springs, TN.
