Scott Winthrop Randall, age 60, passed away on Saturday, December 27, 2014, at his home in Biloxi, Mississippi. He was born on October 14, 1954, in Indianola, Mississippi. He was a beloved husband, father, son, brother, and friend to all who knew him. Scotty’s early life was spent in his native Sunflower County. He had a true love for the Mississippi Delta. He was a graduate of Indianola Academy, attended Mississippi Delta Community College, and graduated from Delta State University. He began his professional career in the cable communications industry in 1979 with Warner Cable in Cleveland, MS. He held various management positions throughout the southeast with Warner-Amex, United Artist, Comcast and CableOne. For the past ten years, Scott has served as General Manager for CableOne in Biloxi, MS. He received numerous awards for his outstanding leadership in the cable industry. Scotty is survived by his devoted wife of 38 years Margie Bonner Randall of Biloxi, MS, and his daughter Josalyn Randall of Tuscaloosa, AL. He is also survived by his mother Barbara Bailey Randall of Baird, MS, and his siblings Sandi Randall of Mobile, AL; Robin Kennedy of Madison, MS; Randy Randall of Indianola, MS; Sharman Gray of Reynolds Plantation, GA; and Stacy Weems of West Point, MS. He is also survived by his father-in-law John Bonner of Hattiesburg, MS; his brothers-in-law Mike Bonner of Hattiesburg, MS, and Steve Bonner of Littleton, CO; and his numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father Jim Randall, his sister Stephanie Randall Daniel, and his mother-in-law Marge Bonner. A visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 30, 2014 from 5:00 till 7:00 PM at Bradford-O’Keefe Funeral Home in Ocean Springs, MS. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 3, 2015 at 10:00 am at the First United Methodist Church in Indianola, MS. The family has requested that in lieu of flowers, memorials be sent to the Jim Randall Scholarship Fund: MDCC Foundation Inc., PO Box 710, Moorhead, MS 38761 or the Druid City Garden Project: PO Box 2374, Tuscaloosa, AL 35403.
