SFC James Thomas Waller, USMC/MIANG, retired

SFC James Thomas Waller, USMC/MIANG retired, passed away Thursday, 2 Feb 17, in Biloxi MS at age 78. He lived most of his life in Linden, MI with a post-retirement position as "Greeter" at Fenton WalMart. Jim is greatly loved and will be sadly missed by many. He was born in Walnut Ridge, Arkansas to Woodrow and Jessie, and is survived by his wife, Alberta and children Tom and Lisa of PA, Becky and Frank McKeny of MS, David and Becky of MI, Greg and Michelle of MI, Howard and Laurie Robins of MI, Tammy Robins and Terry of MI, Larry Robins and Teri of MI, and Terry and Amy Brown of MI, 23 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. Two sisters remain; Nora Brust of MI and Shirley Jones and Menville of FL. Jim was preceded in death by both parents, 4 siblings, 1 daughter and 1 grandaughter. A memorial service will be held at Fenton United Methodist Church and he will be interred at the Great Lakes National Cemetery in Holly with Military Honors. Time and Date of services are pending. The Howard Avenue Chapel of Bradford-O’Keefe Funeral Home is in charge.
