Shannon Rose Fournier Stein

Shannon Rose Fournier Stein, 86 of D’Iberville, went to be with her Lord, Jesus, in heaven on Saturday, October 04, 2014. Mrs. Stein was a devout Catholic and a longtime member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in D’Iberville. She is preceded in death by her beloved husband of 47 years, Charles R. “Bob” Stein; her parents, Percy and Valda Brasher Fournier; her brother, Stanley Fournier, Sr.; her grandparents, Isom and Rosalie Brasher and Clementine and Raymond Fournier, all of D’Iberville. Mrs. Stein is survived by 10 children; Charles R. “Chuck” (Patti) Stein, Jr. of D’Iberville, Cheryl Stein of Vancleave, Susan Furney of D’Iberville, Jeffrey Stein of Biloxi, Jayne (Jeff) Korn of Biloxi, Pam (Paul) LaFontaine of Pass Christian, Sandra (Del) DelGaicco of Johnson City, Tenn., Sarah (David) Yennie of Biloxi, Adrianne Grady of D’Iberville and Andrea (Marshall) Patronas of Gautier; 30 grandchildren; 35 great-grandchildren; her sisters, Charlotte (Dave) Davis of Texas and Cathy Cooper of Biloxi; her brother, PE (Terri) Fournier of D’Iberville; her sister-in-law, Linda Fournier of St. Martin; and many other family members and friends . In lieu of flowers the family prefers memorials be made to the American Heart Association, P.O. Box 840692, Dallas, TX 75284-0692, Sacred Heart Parish St. Vincent de Paul, 10446 Lemoyne Blvd., D’Iberville, MS 39540 or the Shriner’s Burn Institute, 815 Market St., Galveston, TX 77550. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in D’Iberville on Thursday, October 9, 2014 at 12:00 pm. Friends may visit from 10:00 am until mass time.
