Sharon Annette Pinnix Tisdale

Sharon Annette (Pinnix) Tisdale of Gulfport passed away in Horn Lake, MS after a courageous battle with leukemia. She was a strong and caring person. She was born November 20, 1955 in Greenville, Mississippi. Sharon was baptized on May 19,1968 at the age of 14 at the Sunflower Community Church in Wiggins. She loved decorating cakes and wood carving, as she was a very talented person. She is preceded in death by her husband, Sidney Paul Tisdale; mother Virginia ( Wells ) Pinnix and father Boyd Pinnix; sister Phyllis Pinnix; son- in- law, Roger McCullar, maternal and paternal grandparents. She is survived by daughter Sarah Beth (Johnston) McCullar of Horn Lake , son Cliff Johnston (Bobbie) of Coldwater; stepson, Jeremy Tisdale of Wake Forest N.C; grandchildren Brittany McKay (Josh), Michael Johnston (Taylor) , Breanna Johnston, Tres Johnston, Coleton Johnston,; great - granddaughter Kyleigh Novascone; sister Tyann Carr (Pete); brother Waymon Pinnix ( Donna) ; sister ,Wanda Emerick ( Larry); sister- in –law, Nancy Tisdale Poole; brother-in-law, Wayne Tisdale; many nieces and nephews; Rakestraw ( Ponytail Girls) , and a special thanks from Sharon to her extended family (the Smitherman Family)! Visitation will be held Thursday, November 13, 2014 from 12:00 p.m. until 1:00 p.m. at Bradford-O’Keefe Funeral Home, 15th Street, Gulfport.
