Sheila Mary Gray

Sheila M. Gray, 78, of Ocean Springs, MS died on Tuesday, May 15, 2012. Mrs. Gray was a native of England and had been a resident of Ocean Springs for the past 44 years. She was a member of St. John’s Episcopal Church in Ocean Springs where she was active in Daughters of the King. Mrs. Gray was also a member of the Friendship Civic Club. She enjoyed her garden and feeding the many creatures who would visit. Mrs. Gray was a beloved wife, mother and friend. She is preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, John Lee Gray. Mrs. Gray is survived by her daughter, Carol Hill and husband, Dana of Ocean Springs; son, Johnny Gray of Dover, DE; two grandchildren, Caleb and Candace Hill and numerous family and friends. The family prefers memorials to: St. John’s Episcopal Church, 705 Rayburn Ave., Ocean Springs, MS 39564. Funeral services will be on Monday, May 21, 2012 at 12:00 p.m. at St. John’s Episcopal Church. Friends may visit from 11:00 a.m. until service time. A graveside service will follow in Biloxi National Cemetery beginning at 1:30 p.m. Bradford-O’Keefe Funeral Home, Ocean Springs is in charge of arrangements.
