Sherry Ann Seymour

Mrs. Sherry Ann Brown Venus, age 85, of Ocean Springs, MS died Saturday, April 27, 2013, in Ocean Springs. Mrs. Venus was famous for her Easter Egg Hunts at 2812 West Beach, Biloxi. She was a graduate of Sacred Heart Biloxi and very active in the Junior Auxiliary in the 1960's. She resided in Ocean Springs after Camille where she was one of a kind homemaker. Mrs. Venus was a loving wife, mother and grandmother who always looked forward to spending time with her family. She was preceded in death by her husband, D.J. Venus III, daughter, Sherry Venus Seymour and parents, George B. Brown and Flo Brown. Survivors include two sons, David J. Venus IV and George Mims Venus and five grandchildren, Quint Venus, Anna Venus, Dylan Seymour, Logan Seymour and Cameron Seymour. Visitation will be on Wednesday, May 1, 2013, from 10am~11:30am, at the Ocean Springs Chapel of Bradford O'Keefe Funeral Home. An 11:30 am procession will follow to Biloxi City Cemetery for a 12 noon graveside service.
