Shirley Ann Sare

Shirley Ann Sare, 86, of Biloxi, MS died Tuesday, June 12, 2012 in Biloxi. Mrs. Sare was born November 2, 1925 and was a native of Denver, CO. Shirley lived in San Francisco, CA before relocating to the Mississippi Gulf Coast. She was a loving wife and mother. She was a huge animal lover and she enjoyed Broadway shows and jigsaw puzzles. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Jay Lee Gannett; and her second husband, Michael Cleo Sare. Survivors include her son, Jay Gannett; her daughter, Celeste Ann (Steve) Cowell; and two granddaughters, Jessica Cowell and Sarah Duke. In lieu of flowers, the family prefers donations to be made to the Humane Society of South Mississippi, 2615 25th Ave., Gulfport, MS 39501. Visitation will be from 6:30pm until 7:30pm with a 7:30pm Memorial Service all at the Howard Avenue Chapel of Bradford-O’Keefe Funeral Home on Wednesday, June 20, 2012.
