Shirley Guest Yarbrough

Mrs. Shirley G. Yarbrough, age 78, of Ocean Springs, MS, passed away on Tuesday, September 3, 2013, in Ocean Springs. Shirley was a resident of Ocean Springs for the past 25 years and was a very classy lady who was always "Prim and Proper". She loved animals and cared for many pets over her lifetime. Shirley was a prolific gardener who could make anything grow. She was preceded in death by her husband, Albert E. Yarbrough, parents, Lawton and Lillian Guest, sister, Imelda Solomon and brother, Eugene Guest. Survivors include a son, Karlin K. (Helen) Pycha, brother, Larry Guest, niece, Marta (Roland) Williams and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Visitation will be on Friday, September 6, 2013, from 10 am to 11 am, with an 11 am chapel service, all at the Ocean Springs Chapel of Bradford O'Keefe Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Crestlawn Memorial Park.
