Stanley R. “Dickie” Bahm, age 65 of Perkinston died Tuesday, January 21, 2014 in Biloxi. He was a lifelong resident of the Coast. He was a U.S. Army veteran serving in Vietnam where he was a scout dog handler. He worked for the Post Office for 39 years and nine months.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Boots Orr Bahm and Harry DeWitt Bahm, Sr.
He is survived by his wife of 40 plus years, Sherry Blanton Bahm of Perkinston; sons, Rick (Michell) Bahm and granddaughter, Skylar M. Bahm of Lorraine Community, Tim (Jenny) Bahm and granddaughters, Kayla N. Bahm and Kyndall E. Bahm of Perkinston; and step-grandchildren, Brittany (Zack) Martin and PJ Harrison; two sisters, Martha D. Bahm Barlow of Biloxi, Joann Stevenson of Kenner, LA; two brothers-in-law, Jimmy Blanton and Harry Blanton (Wanda) all of Orange Grove; numerous nieces and nephews; a godson, Bill Stevenson (Bruce).
The funeral service is Thursday, January 23, 2014 at 1:30 p.m. at Bradford-O’Keefe Funeral Home, O’Neal Road, Gulfport where friends may visit beginning at 12:00 p.m.
Interment will follow at Biloxi National Cemetery, Biloxi.
