Stephen Michael Field

Mr. Stephen Michael Field, age 62, of Ocean Springs, MS, died Sunday, November 4, 2012, in Ocean Springs. Mr. Field was a resident of the Gulf Coast for over twenty years. He had a lifelong passion for music and was deeply appreciative for being able to play the piano at the First Baptist Church of Vancleave for several years. He was a music teacher in several states and was a 32nd Degree Scottish Rights Mason of Tri-Luminar #18 and Mahaska #644, Oskaloosa, IA. He was preceded in death by his parents, Joe and Bonnie Field and two brothers, Daniel C. Field and Russell C. Field. Survivors include his wife of 40 years, Cindy Field, two sons, Aaron M. Field and Adam J. Field, two sisters, Dena Field Jackson and Lori (Chester) Funk, and a beloved granddaughter, Tuyen H. Field. On Tuesday, November 13, 2012, there will be a Memorial Service at 3:30 pm at the First Baptist Church of Vancleave. The family would like to thank Southern Care Hospice. In lieu of flowers the family prefers memorials be made to the Music Ministry of The First Baptist Church of Vancleave. The Ocean Springs Chapel of Bradford O'Keefe Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
